New Braunfels guitarist Steven Vee formed a powerhouse group of musicians to tackle the music of one of America’s best hard rock bands, Motley Crue! When the Crue retired, they left a void on the rock scene. Looks That Kill filled that void with a night of pure hard rock hits like "Kickstart My Heart," "Girls Girls Girls" and "Home Sweet Home."

Terri Hendrix & Lloyd Maines
Grammy Award-winning Terri Hendrix is a singer-songwriter from Texas. She co-wrote the song “Lil’ Jack Slade” by the Dixie Chicks and she has won a plethora of awards for her genre smashing style. Lloyd Maines was inducted into the Austin City Limits Hall Of Fame as one of the first three members, the other two being Willie Nelson and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Chicks with Hits: Pam Tillis, Terri Clark & Suzy Bogguss
Audiences enjoyed the rare opportunity of seeing three of the biggest female artists in country music on stage together performing an intimate night of acoustic music. And with 36 top 10 singles between them there was a lot of material from which to pull. The triple-threat combination of talent is unparalleled; with over 10 million records sold, and numerous GRAMMY, ACM, CMA, and CCMA awards. But ultimately, it’s about three friends singing and playing great songs together, and having fun.
Paul Thorn - Brauntex Unplugged
Paul released his newest album “Don’t Let the Devil Ride” in March 2018. He played the Brauntex Theatre as part of his 2019 tour across the country, playing some of his most popular songs along with selections from the new gospel-influenced record, which often features special guests such as the Blind Boys of Alabama, the McCrary Sisters, Bonnie Bishop and the Preservation Hall Horns. Additionally, as the 20th anniversary of Paul's album "Ain't Love Strange" approaches, he played several selections from that album.

Washed up on the shores of West Africa, an infant boy is taken in and raised by gorillas who name him Tarzan. Apart from striving for acceptance from his ape father, Tarzan's life is mostly monkey business until a human expedition treks into his tribe's territory, and he encounters creatures like himself for the first time. Tarzan struggles to navigate a jungle, thick with emotion, as he discovers his animal upbringing clashing with his human instincts.
Bruce celebrated the 20th anniversary of his breakthrough album titled "Wrapped" with a special tour of Texas theatres. This is the album that had big #1 hits that were recorded by George Strait, Tim McGraw and the Dixie Chicks, as well as his personal hit "My Brother & Me." With his ace Back Porch Band, Bruce played all songs on the record from start to finish, plus all of his other hits. This was a rare, one-time only experience at the Brauntex Theatre!
The sublime Storm Large took the stage March 21 performing a colorful combination of jazz, cabaret, rock and more. She shot to national prominence as a finalist on the CBS show Rock Star: Supernova. She joined Michael Feinstein as special guest on the Jazz at Lincoln Center Popular Song series, as well as with Liza Minnelli, Joel Grey, and the Pasadena Pops. Storm made her debut as guest vocalist with the band Pink Martini in April 2011.

The 2 Tons for Texas Lions Fundraiser raised funds for Texas Lions Charities. These charities included: Texas Lions Camp, Lone Star Lions Eye Bank, Texas Lions Foundation and other charities.
Mary Shelley's FRANKENSTEIN
Aquila Theatre's production of the timeless classic, Mary Shelley's FRANKENSTEIN, was bold and thrilling. Written two centuries ago in 1818, FRANKENSTEIN: The Modern Prometheus, was the first true science fiction novel. Years ahead of its time, the story has since become the inspiration of countless films and stage adaptations. FRANKENTSEIN was a living, breathing, gruesome outcome of scientific discovery. The piece still poses a myriad of critical ethical questions-just because it can be done, should it be done?
LOCAL LIVE Grouchy Like Riley
This five piece band from Austin is made up of musicians who have played with some of the best bands in America. They picked Jerry Jeff and Guy Clark to pay tribute to because they have performed in bands fronted by these two iconic songwriters. Guy Clark was born in Texas and Jerry Jeff got here as fast as he could. Together they wrote some of the best songs in the business. From Mr. Bojangles to L.A. Freeway, it was a fantastic night of music performed by the musicians that actually recorded it.
Now that he’s finished up his movie with Jack Black, made appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and The Today Show, polka king Alex Meixner returned to the Brauntex Theatre. His annual Fat Tuesday concert has become a legendary showcase of the many styles of music that his band performs.
Patrons celebrated Texas Independence Day with Texas Country Music Hall of Famer Johnny Bush. He is best known for his distinctive voice and as the writer of "Whiskey River," a top-ten hit for himself and Willie Nelson's signature song. Bush has received a variety of awards including the BMI Million-Air Award and Songwriter Achievement Award.

John Acosta as Barry Gibb has performed in Bee Gees Tributes all over the world. His portrayal of lead singer Barry Gibb is with a zest for detail, like no other. From the look to the falsetto, the audience closed their eyes and said "its Barry!" John Acosta’s Bee Gees Gold tribute was the ultimate salute and experience of seeing the Bee Gees in their prime.
Red Steagall has won the Wrangler Award for original music five times, has been named the Official Cowboy Poet of Texas, and is a member of the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame. He has appeared on TV shows such as Hee Haw and Nashville on the Road. He is known for songs such as "Here We Go Again," "Party Dolls and Wine" and "Lone Star Beer and Bob Wills Music."

Originally from Stroud, Oklahoma, Bret resides in Canyon Lake with his wife Cindy. Bret and his ace band have performed many sold out shows at the Brauntex Theatre and this one was no different! For this show, Bret paid tribute to two country music outlaws, Waylon Jennings & Hank Williams Jr.
Patrons enjoyed an evening with CMA and Grammy award-winning country artist, Travis Tritt. This rare opportunity featured the multi-platinum artist in an intimate solo-acoustic setting where his powerful voice and his guitar were the subject of the spotlight. An up-close and personal event punctuated by personal stories and anecdotes about his life and musical influences. He performed some of his biggest hits, including “T-R-O-U-B-L-E,” “It’s A Great Day to Be Alive” and “Best of Intentions.”

A full house spent Valentine's Day at the Brauntex Theatre with Marty Stuart and Connie Smith. Marty's band, The Fabulous Superlatives, and Connie's band, The Sundowners, shared the stage for a high energy live show featuring rockabilly, country and gospel hits. It was an evening packed with one classic country hit after another.
Liverpool Legends are four talented musician and actors, handpicked by Louise Harrison-sister of the late George Harrison. Liverpool legends perform songs spanning the entire career of the Classic Early Beatles through the psychedelic eta of Sgt. Pepper and the final years all the way through Abbey Road. Liverpool legends made you feel like you were watching the real thing! Together, these four lads brought you "The Complete Beatles Experience."

The Kingston Trio
American folk and pop music group “The Kingston Trio” helped launch the folk revival of the 50’s and 60’s. The Trio has released nineteen albums that made Billboard's Top 100, fourteen of which ranked in the top 10 and five of which hit the number 1 spot. The group still ranks in the all-time lists of many of Billboard's cumulative charts. Their hit recording of "Tom Dooley" sold over three million copies as a single.
LOCAL LIVE Brett Cline
Brett Cline is a New Braunfels musician that plays in several local bands. He has a jazz quartet, plays bass in a classic rock power trio, plays keyboards in a national touring polka band and fills in as a gun for hire in just about any other group that needs him. For this show he was joined by guitarist and singer Phillip Henderson to form a super group of local musicians. They joined forces to pay tribute to the music of Paul Simon. It included many solo hits as well as duets with Art Garfunkel.

Christmas Favorites with Richard Novak
Tenor Richard Novak presented a jazz evening of classical and traditional Christmas songs. Accompanied by a chamber orchestra, Novak took the audience on a musical ride through several centuries of sacred and secular Christmas and holiday favorites. Special guests VocaLibre, Texas State University Strutters and Hill Country Youth Chorus accompanied Richard Novak on stage.
Suzy Bogguss' Swingin' Little Christmas Show
Grammy award winning singer Suzy Bogguss and her band graced the stage at the Brauntex Theatre on Thursday, December 13, 2018, for her acoustic Swingin' Little Christmas Show. She has topped the charts with "Someday Soon" and "Letting Go" and has performed at Austin City Limits, on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Good Morning America and many more. Christmas at the Brauntex with Suzy Bogguss was a fabulous show!
Grand Ol' Christmas Show
The Grand Ol’ Christmas Show is a tribute to the original, traditional, old fashioned Christmas Show. Presented in the format of a live radio broadcast, it's an original variety show produced by Will Hearn and featuring American band Blue Water Highway, along with a twelve piece big band, gospel choir and some of the best singers and entertainers in Texas.
Bill W. and Dr. Bob
Bill W. & Dr. Bob,presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC., was the first theatrical production produced by the Brauntex ArtReach program, directed by Artistic Director Felicia Miller. This was the courageous TRUE story of two American pioneers who co-founded the organization of Alcoholics Anonymous. Bill Wilson and Dr. Bob Smith were desperately seeking help when fate threw them together. Working through their own personal struggles, they tapped into an approach that flourishes today with over 21 million members worldwide. This inspirational story took an intimate look at the demons of addiction, but also the unconquerable human spirit.
Jefferson Starship released eight gold and platinum albums, twenty hit singles, sold out concerts worldwide and lived out legendary rock and roll escapades. Local Live - Jay Bleu
Jay Bleu is a local New Braunfels based group formed by vocalist & guitar player Jay Wimberley. Their original music is blues based with plenty of classic rock and pop mixed in. Jay lists John Mayer as a huge influence in his music when he was first starting out. For this show, Jay covered all parts of Mayer’s career, from his pop hits to his trio blues to his classic arena rock period.
Branford Marsalis Quartet
NEA Jazz Master, renowned Grammy Award‐winning saxophonist and Tony Award nominee Branford Marsalis is one of the most revered instrumentalists of his time. He is the former leader of the Tonight Show Band and current leader of The Branford Marsalis Quartet, one of the most innovative and forward‐thinking jazz ensembles around today!
Yesenia McNett played a benefit concert for the New Braunfels Public Library Foundation. In addition to her own shows, McNett has been the featured guest vocalist for such artists as Gil Gutierrez and Alex Meixner. Her vocals during the 2015 tribute to the rock band Heart blew the roof off the historic Theatre! For this show, Yesenia paid tribute to one of her biggest influences, the legendary Linda Ronstadt.
Asleep at The Wheel
Reviving the freewheeling, eclectic sensibility of Western swing godfather Bob Wills, Asleep at the Wheel has earned enthusiastic critical praise throughout their lengthy career; they have not only preserved classic sounds that had all but disappeared from country music, but have also been able to update the music, keeping it a living, breathing art form.
