LIVE FROM DOWNTOWN: Mike Atkins – Joe Cocker’s Mad Dogs & Englishmen

In 1970, Joe Cocker embarked on a tour of the US, calling the show ‘Mad Dogs and Englishmen.’ Leon Russell was the band leader, and the tour was such a success that it resulted in an album and a film. The album went to #1 on the Billboard World Chart, and spawned iconic hits such as “A Little Help From My Friends”, “The Letter”, and “Feelin’ Alright”. The tour, album, and film helped to cement Joe Cocker and Leon Russell’s place in American rock history.

On January 25^th, Mike Atkins will bring all the best elements of that legendary concert together for an unforgettable night of music and memories.
