He is also known for preserving country music artifacts, with plans for a cultural center called The Congress of Country Music. “Altitude” is inspired by his 2018 tour with Roger McGuinn and Chris Hillman and showcases a diverse mix of country and rock influences. The album’s emotional core shines through, with tracks like “The Angels Came Down” and the reflective title track.
