Brauntex Theatre Bag Policy
As of September 1, 2024, the Brauntex Performing Arts Theatre has implemented a new bag policy. The Brauntex only allows clear bags and/or small clutch bags for all ticketed events and this policy is subject to change.

Patrons may bring a clear bag (12′′ x 6′′ x 12′′ maximum size) and/or a solid small clutch bag (5.5′′ x 8.5′′) to the venue:
- A small clutch bag (clear OR solid), approximately the size of a hand, size 5.5” x 8.5” or smaller.
- Any bag larger than 5.5” x 8.5” must be a clear bag and not exceed 12′′ x 6′′ x 12′′. Bags cannot be mesh, iridescent, or tinted.
- Exceptions for medically necessary equipment are allowed after proper inspection by security staff.
- Diapers and other baby supplies can be carried inside a clear bag. Solid diaper bags are NOT allowed.
- All bags are subject to search prior to entry. Patrons who choose not to adhere to the guidelines will not be allowed entry into the theatre and ticket purchases will not be refunded.
- Prohibited bags (not limited to) Purses or bags larger than 12′′ x 6′′ x 12′′ such as briefcases, backpacks, computer/tablet bags, camera/camera bags, fanny packs, luggage, diaper bags and binocular cases are prohibited.
What happens if the bag I bring does not meet the required guidelines?
Patrons carrying bags that do not follow our bag policy may choose to either purchase a clear bag provided by the Brauntex or may return their bag to their vehicle.
What if, for medical reasons, my items won’t fit in the clear bag, what do I do?
Patrons carrying medically necessary bags or equipment into a venue will be required to have their bag inspected by security. For questions about medical equipment or other needs please

Are diaper bags allowed in the venue?
Diapers and other baby supplies can be carried inside a clear bag. Each member of a family, including children, may carry an approved clear bag and/or a clutch purse into the venue.

The Brauntex Theatre has implemented a new bag policy to improve safety measures for everyone.
Does the Brauntex Theatre sell clear bags?
Yes, the Brauntex Theatre is now selling clear bags in the Box Office. The large tote bags are $16 and the small clutch is $14. Brauntex clear bags can be purchased in the Box Office during normal business hours or the night of the show.

Entry Requirement:
All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket in hand.
Ticket Acceptance:
To expedite theatre entry, each person MUST present one of the following ticket types upon entry into the Theatre.
- Hard tickets
- Printed tickets with QR Code
- E-Ticket or Screenshot of an E-Ticket with QR code
Will-Call:
- Will-Call is located in the ticket booth at the front entrance.
- Will-Call opens one hour before showtime.
E-Ticket:
- If you select an e-ticket at the time of purchase, you will receive an email from OvationTix.
- You may print your e-ticket or display it on your cell phone before entry.
- If you cannot locate the e-ticket, call the box office at 830-627-0808 to have the email resent.
(Note: Your e-ticket cannot be added to your Apple wallet.)
Ticket Pickup for Guests:
If you are waiting for a guest to complete your party, either leave their ticket at will-call or ensure they have a scannable ticket that meets the requirements above.
Ticket Refunds:
There are no refunds or exchanges for tickets purchased. If an event is canceled and rescheduled, patrons will receive the new performance information through the email address provided at the point of sale. If a performance is canceled and not rescheduled, the Brauntex Theatre will issue a full refund.
Avoid Ticket Scams:
For guaranteed seating at the best price, always purchase directly from BRAUNTEX.ORG or call our Box Office at 830-627-0808. Don’t risk paying inflated prices or falling victim to fraudulent listings.
The Brauntex Theatre Parking Lot
Our parking lot is located behind the theatre with limited parking spaces available for $8.65.
Please note that we do not offer pre-paid parking reservations for our lot. If you choose to pre-pay for parking, we cannot guarantee an available space, and refunds will not be issued in the event that a parking space is unavailable.

- Payment may be made by credit/debit cards using the kiosk located near the back of the building.
- Scan the QR code located on the blue signs in the parking lot.
- Text "TX1286" to 53242.
- Download the LAZ Parking App and create an account.
- Visit https://lazparking.com.

Health Safety Protocols
The Brauntex Performing Arts Theatre is dedicated to ensuring a safe environment for all who pass through our doors. We will continue to provide strategic cleaning practices here at the theatre to ensure the safest environment for our patrons. Thank you in advance for helping everyone by being self-aware of your own health status to keep others as safe as possible! If you have immediate concerns, call us at 830-627-0808 or email us at boxoffice@brauntex.org. The Brauntex Theatre has put into place the following:
- While masks are not mandatory, all patrons are invited to wear a mask if they so choose. Masks are provided for anyone needing a mask.
- Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the lobbies and restrooms and entrance into the seating areas.
- Special surface and air disinfection occurs before and after every performance. Cleaning and sanitation regiments will remain vigilant, especially for high-touch surfaces such as railings, seats, and door handles.
- If Patrons are showing signs consistent with COVID-19 or are feeling ill for any reason, they are asked to please stay home for the safety of others.
- The box office, lobby, and performance hall will open one hour prior to the performance. There is no entry prior to that time.
- Will-call is available at the ticket booth located in front of the theatre's entrance, and tickets will be checked at the entrance doors.
In addition to staying in touch with local and state guidelines as well as industry standards, the Brauntex Theatre is abiding by local, state, and federal government executive orders. These procedures were updated on January 1, 2023, and are subject to change.

Doors and concessions open one hour prior to showtime. We recommend arriving early, especially for sold-out shows, for bar line purposes, and not interrupting the patrons already seated.

Onsite Food and Drink Options
Concessions are open: snacks, mixed drinks, wine, beer, sodas, and water are available for purchase. Please be aware that our concessionaire will ID for all alcoholic beverage purchases. The theatre does not permit outside food and drinks allowed in the building.
